Andy is the type a guy that compiles a huge scrapbook of their relationship memories (full of shavings from corks and ticket stubs) that he then gifts to Shawna. As Kayla, Shawna’s Matron of Honor and sister says, Shawna’s the type of girl who gives you a gift back for you giving her a birthday gift. So as you can imagine, their Capitol Room wedding day, was one for the (scrap) books!
When Shawna and Andy reached out, we had only worked at The Capitol Room once and were eager to be back at the gorgeous modern industrial venue. We were already excited before meeting these two. But once we met them, and chatted about their BBQ Competitions and wood working – we were hooked! After a fall engagement session filled with SO many laughs, we got even more excited. We couldn’t wait for their day to roll around.
Shawna and Andy hosted an absolutely amazing wedding day at The Capitol Room. They chose personal touches like smoke bombs, a full dessert bar with cake pops (yes, I had two!!), brownies, cupcakes, cake, a donut wall and more, and a crazy father daughter dance with cowboy hats!! An incredible vendor team brought together picture-perfect bouquets with little pops of color, got the girls looking absolutely gorgeous, and orchestrated an amazing guest experience!!
YOU TWO!! We remember that we went out for your engagement session and had SO MUCH FUN! But even better, Shawna posted an insta story afterwards of the two of you out enjoying dinner (something we always recommend to our couples – turn your engagement session into a date night!) that said “we already knew we’d love @cameronandtia but it’s been officially confirmed” and we died!! Of course, we screen shotted it and still have it. You guys have made us feel valued and special the entire time and this is such a demonstration of you guys – you have the biggest hearts!!
