Secondly, you want to make sure that you and the makeup artist are a good fit. Then you know you’re getting everything you want out of your wedding day!

So how should you go about scheduling a trial? We recommend scheduling it at least a few months before your wedding. That way you have time to adjust anything beforehand, and if that’s not needed then it’s one more thing you can check off your to-do list. The best time to test it out would be during your engagement session. Literally, it’s the perfect time to do it. You can see how it feels to have on for a while and discover how it photographs! You’re already carving out that day for you photos so hit two birds with one stone and schedule your makeup trial that morning.
