Introducing Shelby: The Coffee Lover with a Heart for Operations

To kick things off, we wanted to give you a glimpse into Shelby’s background. She’s got quite the journey! Shelby earned her degree in Kinesiology: Community and Public Health from Iowa State University. After graduation, she embarked on an adventure that led her all the way to sunny Arizona. There, she spent five years working her magic in management at a coffee company. Fun fact: That’s where she met her husband, Juan, who also worked for the same coffee company!

Speaking of coffee, let’s take a quick trip down memory lane. Check out our vlog from our trip to Portland, where we became “regulars” at Dutch Bros, the beloved coffee company they used to work at. Yes, we visited it five times during our trip!

Shelby’s Role in the Cameron & Tia Universe

Now, let’s dive into the heart of the matter. What does Shelby actually do at Cameron & Tia? Well, buckle up because her role is quite diverse. In her own words, “We all know that Cameron and Tia are very creative, business-savvy, tech-savvy entrepreneurs. They have lots of visions and ideas for where they want to take their business. What I do is help make that happen in any way possible.” That can mean working with students, assisting at weddings, and dabbling in a little bit of everything.

Crafting an Intentional Work Week

One of the coolest aspects of our team is the intentional workweek we’ve created. Shelby spills the beans on how hers looks: Mondays are all about client operations, Tuesdays are dedicated to editing YouTube content, Wednesdays revolve around website work, Thursdays are for social media and graphics, and Fridays are either catch-up days or for attending weddings. It’s a well-oiled machine that keeps our creative juices flowing!

Shelby’s Off-Duty Adventures

But what does Shelby do when she’s not conquering the world of operations? Well, she’s a pro at spending quality time with family and friends. Plus, she’s the star player on our rec kickball team – trust me, you don’t want to face off against her on the field! Oh, and reality shows? Shelby’s a huge fan, especially Survivor.

And here’s a fun tidbit you don’t want to miss – Shelby loves thrifting and has a knack for finding really funky trinkets and house decor that give off those groovy 60s and 70s vibes. Her home is like a treasure trove of nostalgia!
