Willow Brooke Farm Wedding

It’s hard not to talk about the weather on this Willow Brooke Farm wedding day. When we arrived, the sun was shining. During wedding party photos, the clouds took over. At ceremony time, it poured and the ceremony was moved indoors. Come cocktail hour, the sun came out to wrap up the rain with a sun shower and a double rainbow. And for the rest of the evening, the rain stayed away so that guests could take photos outdoors, enjoy the patio, and look over the rolling hills of the Willow Brooke Farm property.

From our perspective, Mackenzie and Patrick’s wedding day, and past few years of their lives together have had these same ups and downs. Yes, it’s had a few bumps in the road and valleys, but those valleys have just taught them to appreciate the peaks even more. When it poured during their ceremony, they still got to have their nephews get driven down the aisle, say emotional and meaningful personal vows, and share the most epic first kiss. But even more importantly, it made them appreciate the sun peaking out during cocktail hour even more. As they stood under the pavillion with their closest friends as the double rainbow showed up, they could celebrate the change in weather with even more vigor than normal. They could cherish this peak and soak it in!

Mackenzie and Patrick – we love you guys! You are the perfect balance to each other and we cherish our time with you guys!
