Our first stop – Waco, Texas! Despite some inclement weather playing spoilsport with the restaurant plans, we made the most of our time exploring the quaint town and the renowned Magnolia Farms. The closed restaurants didn’t dampen our spirits as we delved into the vibrant shops, soaking in the cute and lively atmosphere that defines Waco.

Dallas Delight:

Next up, we hit Dallas for the Creative Educator Conference 2024, hosted by the amazing Laylee Emadi. The chill in the air welcomed us, a pleasant surprise from our frozen Minnesota base. The welcome bash kicked off the festivities with a room filled with speakers, attendees, and an incredible atmosphere of joy and laughter. Laylee’s sweet treats and the mind-blowing venue added a special touch to an already fantastic experience.

Day one was a rollercoaster of inspiration, learning, and connections. From the coffee bar to growth tips from businesses, the conference exceeded expectations. Laylee Emadi’s surprises continued, making the event truly memorable. The late-night rendezvous, filled with dinner, snacks, and hotel bar hangs, forged lasting connections with our newfound community.

Day two was no less exciting, with more speakers, inspiration, and an electric vibe that fueled our creative fire. As the conference wrapped, we said our grateful goodbyes, armed with fresh perspectives and a renewed hustle.

Vegas Ventures:

From Dallas, we jetted off to Vegas, where the bright lights and lively atmosphere awaited. A quick detour to Lake Havasu City for a wedding photoshoot added a touch of romance to our adventure. Back in Vegas, we indulged in sightseeing, delectable food (and milkshakes), and quality time together.

The city that never sleeps lived up to its reputation as we explored its iconic landmarks and savored delicious meals. The contrast between the conference’s creative energy in Dallas and the vibrant nightlife in Vegas was the perfect balance for an unforgettable week.
