Terra Nue Farm Joyful Minnesota Wedding
Oh gosh you guys, we literally don’t know where to start with this one. Like we’ve drafted and redrafted this so many times because we just adore this couple and this wedding so freakin’ much. So let’s start here. At the end of the night, we walked away from Terra Nue Farm and a packed dance floor as the Bluewater Kings Band played under the twinkle lights. Sunburned and covered in bug bites (like talking about two times the amount we had gotten all summer), we left with the fullest hearts ever.
Our job is the bomb. We love that we get to be a part of a little slice of all these wonderful couples’ wedding journey. We get to know what lights them up, their struggles, and then be by their side on the best day ever. But a tiny amount of sadness comes with the job because we know at the end of the night that we may not see our couples again. So, you can imagine the happiness we feel after getting to have a wonderful day with Stacia and Spencer, hugging Spencer to leave, and Spencer saying that we needed to hang out! These guys are just the best!
The Wonderful Day
Now, here’s the scoop on the day. We’ll be taking a formatting nod from Stacia and Spencer’s personalized (and emotional, and hilarious) vows:
We’ll never forgetting showing up and being showered with all the coolest details. Stacia is a bomb designer and designed all the paper goods at the wedding and boy, are they cool. We could have photographed them for another couples of hours.
We’ll never forget having the bridesmaids show up in the cutest floral mismatched rompers. Yeah, so many goals. But (dare we say) even better, the guys showed up in animal shirts. First off, there’s a picture in here of them acting out their animal. Second, we’ve never had groomsmen have coordinated getting ready outfits – let alone this cool of getting ready outfits.
We’ll never forget how it felt to be at Terra Nue Farm. The activities sprawled out around the property. Goats and horses witnessed the ceremony. Stacia and Spencer’s first dance happened out in the open with twinkle lights above as everyone circles around them. The property is stunning and was a perfect backdrop for the cool, casual feel of their wedding.
Lastly, we’ll never forget the craziness of the dance floor. You guys, if you haven’t checked out Bluewater Kings Band, do it now. The crowd sang and danced along (and even got a bit rowdy in the best way possible).
Thank you, Stacia and Spencer!
And this is just the start. We could go on forever about all the coolness at this wedding, but this post would just get way too long. So instead, Stacia and Spencer, how can we thank you enough? You two are such amazing souls; kind, quirky, beyond fun, and so, so in love. You two are surrounded by such a good bunch. We absolutely loved our time with your bridal party, but even more so, loved watching how they supported and cheered you on. Thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your wedding and get to be a part of that little slice of your journey.
