Smoky Hollow Studios, Los Angeles Wedding

Jamie and Aaron’s Smoky Hollow Studios Los Angeles wedding was absolutely amazing! The biggest thing that stuck out to us was how unbelievably colorful the entire day was. At the base level, when you look at the day, it was beyond colorful visually. Obviously, that’s coming from to Minnesotans with pasty pale skin who have been living in a brown and white snow globe for the last six months. But really, to anyone, it was so colorful! Smoky Hollow studios has bright green vines climbing along the building. The balcony pergola has rich pinkish red flowers popping off of it. Cali Roots Design put together a bridal bouquet full of fun pops of color. Add in succulents, a bright green food truck, and tacos for dinner, and you’ve got the perfect combination of color!

But the other way that we saw color in their day was through the wide range of emotions felt! There were highs and lows, happy tears, joyful laughs, and remembering those who were not able to be with us. Aaron‘s two brothers shed tears while toasting to the couple. The seven kids involved in the wedding party giggled and chased each other in the bridal suite. They were long, warm hugs of people reuniting and of close friends sharing a moment of celebration. And then there were glasses clinking, sing alongs on the dance floor, and cheers for rad moves.
