Today I am hitting you with a fast and furious TikTok tutorial! I’m showing you how to save your videos without a watermark! There’s a tricky work around so that you can save your TikTok videos without having the TikTok icon bouncing all around so that you can post the same video over on Instagram Reels. So, let’s jump right in!

How we Start:

Here is the video that I am ready to post. But, before I post, there is a crucial step! Up here in the top right corner is where you select a cover, but it’s also where you can preview your video before you post it. So I’m going to show you how if I click on the center, I can preview the video. Don’t click on the bottom, because that’s where you select the cover for the video. Instead, you’re going to click right in the center and it brings you to the video preview.

I could screen record this, but it’s showing all different icons and other things on the screen. It’s showing the expand button, it’s showing the logos and the like and comment buttons. This would be helpful to view this way if you added words and you wanted to make sure they weren’t overlapping with the icons.

Record Your Vid:

What I’m going to do is swipe down on my screen. Because I’ve granted access in my settings, I have a screen record button right on my swipe down screen. You can easily go into your settings and add this to your swipe down screen.

I’m going to press record and it will countdown with 3, 2, and 1. Then you’ll see in the upper corner that it changes to red. That means it’s recording your screen! But again, right now it’s recording the screen with the icons. I’m going to click the expand button in the top left corner and it will bring your video to full screen. Here on the full screen, I’m going to watch that the video passes through one entire time, from start to finish. You can see that it just started over, anddddd done!

From there, I’m going to swipe down again and stop recording. It’s going to show me at the top of the screen, “screen recording saved to your photos”.  Perfect! So I’ll exit out of the video preview, and if I wanted to, I can go ahead and post the video to TikTok!

Edit Your Vid:

I’m going to exit out of here and go to my photos. Now, inside my photos I’ll find this video. If I go to edit in the top corner, I can now drag at the bottom to cut my video. I’m going to bring it to the very beginning of the video where there are no icons visible, and then I’m going to make sure to cut the end of the video when it ends. Then if I go done, I click save video as new clip. If I play this through, I have the full video and if I added any text or any sounds, they would show up in this video as well! From here, I can just go to Instagram, hit plus, and then I have my full video that I can add to Reels.
