A Great Legacy Hill Farm Wedding Day
Before portraits began, rain threatened to turn the day somber. But as Tia ran over to the guy’s cottage to check on how they were, she was greeted by Alex. Alex jumped up from his chair with all the energy in the world to give her a hug that just about knocked her off her feet. He had the hugest smile on his face and when she asked how he was feeling, he exclaimed, “Great!” He continued to go on about how excited he was. When Tia ran back to Sam’s getting ready room she passed on the message and a huge smile spread across Sam’s face as the bridesmaids cooed about how cute that was. Legacy Hill Farm was in for a bunch of excitement!
First Look Energy
We approached the first look and there was a tiny nervous energy in the air. They met each other under a beautiful archway made by a tree at Legacy Hill Farm. When Sam and Alex finally embraced, everything felt right. They felt at home when they rested in each other’s arms. And they felt at peace to be there together in that moment. Then, they cuddled there for a second and then were ready to tackle whatever the day threw at them.
A Beautiful Home
As Sam and Alex walked back down the aisle “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros played. It was a memorable reminder of the sense of home that Alex and Sam have created together. This understanding that “home is wherever I’m with you.” And when they embraced at their first look, that’s what we felt. A home that for them meant warmth, safety, and unconditional love. Sam and Alex, congratulations! We are so happy for the two of you and feel blessed to have been a part of your absolutely wonderful day.
