Gillian and Sam’s love story is one for the ages, and their Quincy Hall wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. From the nostalgic getting ready moments in their childhood homes to the breathtaking ceremony at St. Victoria Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the extraordinary Quincy Hall, every detail of their special day was infused with love, joy, and fun.

Like us, Gillian and Sam’s journey began in high school, where they crossed paths and but by the time they started at The U of M together, they were dating. Fast forward, their love story reached a new chapter with a sweet June engagement, paving the way for a dreamy June 2023 wedding.

The Wedding Day

Anticipation filled the morning of their big day. Gillian and Sam got ready in their childhood homes. The nostalgic atmosphere was palpable. Surrounded by childhood memories and the love of their families and friends, they took their first steps toward their future together.

Next up, St. Victoria Catholic Church was the perfect setting for Gillian and Sam to exchange their vows.As they stood before their loved ones, their eyes locked in a promise of forever, their love radiated like a beacon, captivating everyone present. Following the heartfelt ceremony, it was time for the celebration of a lifetime at the remarkable Quincy Hall in the Arts District(there was even a Spotify playlist to accompany your drive to the venue). Nestled in NE Minneapolis, Quincy Hall has a rich history that dates back to the early 1900s. The versatile event space lovingly transformed from a bustling textile mill – how cool! We loved its industrial-chic aesthetic, exposed brick walls, and soaring ceilings!

Quincy Hall’s Charm

Okay but we also thought that Quincy Hall’s allure extended beyond its captivating architecture. Its prime location boasts two breweries just down the street, which made it an irresistible choice for Gillian and Sam. As lovers of breweries themselves, it was only fitting to have their reception there! With a wide selection of microbrews on tap (and Whiteclaws, lol), their guests were treated to an array of flavors and aromas, ensuring a night of laughter, love, and delicious libations.
