Castello del Trebbio Wedding

The moment you all have been waiting for……drum roll please….…..It’s Olivia & Connor’s Castello del Trebbio wedding!

Okay, let’s lay out the basics for you. These two wanted to head back to Florence, a place that means so much to them. Nestled 30 minutes outside the city, amongst rolling hills and stunning properties lies Castello del Trebbio. The castle is a family farm with wine and cooking classes (both of which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

Olivia and Conner woke up to breakfast baskets delivered and sat in their lounge chairs looking at the valley views and listening to the birds chirp. On their wedding day, they strolled into Florence, ate pasta, drank cappuccinos, and shared gelato. They got married in the castle courtyard with the birds chirping above them. Their personal vows had everyone in tears (and by everyone, we mean their officiant, Jo, their videographer, Alexander, their musician, and us two!). Then, Olivia and Connor basked in the sun during their cocktail hour, swaying to the violin music and enjoying sparkling wine made on the property. They enjoyed THE MOST DELICIOUS dinner and read letters from home out on the patio under string lights as the sun set behind the mountains.

This was pure, simple love. They got to spend their entire day together in one of their favorite places. No unnecessary frills or traditions. No expectations from other people. It was just them. Personal Note

On a personal note, this was an unreal experience for Cam and I. When we spent our honeymoon in Italy, we had just started to book our first weddings. We never saw each other since we worked opposite hours and freedom was one of the last things on our mind. At that time, we could have never dreamed that six years later, we would be here. We would be photographing a wedding in a location that we love so much. We would have created a business where we have the freedom to choose our path and blaze our own trail. That we could take 3.5 weeks off from our job to travel around Europe. And that we get to do it aaaaaaall together.

This was a huge career milestone for us and we are feeling so much gratitude for every single person who support us, books sessions with us, and cheers us along!
