Winter Wonderland Goodness

Oh goodness, guys! Where do we even begin?! You are in for such a treat today! After a nice winter break, we officially kicked off our 2018 wedding season with this wedding and we could not have picked a more perfect way to start! Fair warning before you keep reading any further: prepare for photo overload!

We had SUCH a hard time narrowing down the images for this post. And even when we narrowed things down with a fine-tooth comb, we STILL ended up with such a big blog post. But when you see these photos, we think you’ll understand.

A Gorgeous Winter Day

The week before their wedding, Minnesota dumped a ton of snow on us. And with a huge winter storm on the forecast for Monica and Mike’s day, we knew it would be a winter wonderland. We got to capitalize with those winter vibes with portraits at the beautiful Hansen Tree Farm. We also loved the way Monica chose to incorporate her wedding colors into the day. Both Mike’s custom suit and Monica’s stunning gown had this bride and groom looking amazing (plus some dapper groomsmen attire and stunning bridesmaids dresses). Our photographer hearts were basically on overdrive from the moment we arrived on site!

Monica and Mike are two of the sweetest people we know. They both radiate love and warmth. From the moment we sat down to meet them, we knew they were going to be a special couple, and after their engagement session, all our suspicions were confirmed. Mike knows just how to get Monica laughing, and when you combine it with Monica’s kind spirit and the way these two love each other, it’s all we could ever ask for! We’ve been giddy about pressing “publish” on this blog post, because we have so many new favorites and we love the thought of you two sharing a moment on your honeymoon, reliving these moments, way down in the Bahamas. We hope you love your memories as much as we loved documenting them for you.
