Madden’s on Gull Lake Wedding

This one is super special y’all. Kenzie & Kayla’s Madden’s on Gull Lake Wedding was epic beyond epic. They are the best hosts and they created a guest experience beyond anything. First, Madden’s on Gull Lake is SO fun. Guests could stay on the property and walk down to play pickleball, hit the beach, or enjoy one of the amazing restaurants. But Kenzie and Kayla also made this a weekend to remember. Their weekend started with a Par 3 Tournament topped off with an award ceremony. At their beautiful lakefront cabin at Madden’s they hosted 90 guests the night before the wedding for a grill out.

Then, on to their wedding day. These ladies started the morning SO chill and just hanging with their favorite people. The most gorgeous bouquets by Petal & Beans were delivered and Kenzie and Kayla got dressed in stunning gowns that just felt like the two of them so perfectly. Their ceremony was officiated by Kayla’s dad and was wonderful. It was sealed with a unity ceremony of planting a tree in dirt from all of the significant places in their lives. Their reception, in the pavilion at Madden’s on Gull Lake, had signature drinks, charcuterie, different food stations for dinner, and lots of laughs during toasts. After toasts, you could find guests enjoying themselves tearing up the dance floor, playing games (we watched a mini cornhole tournament ensue), or spread out chatting in one of the many scenic spots to sit and enjoy each out. It was perfection.

Kenzie & Kayla, thank you so much for trusting us to photograph your day. We feel so, so lucky to have met you two and hope to stay in touch. Y’all are perfection – like we said at sunset – just the perfect compliments to each other. We hope you enjoyed your extended weekend and are loving Duluth! Cheers on the best newlywed future ahead!
