Legacy Hill Farm Wedding
First off, we need to give you a rundown of all of the amazing moments of this day. This was the most intentional wedding day we have ever been to. From small choices like napkins with fun facts about the couple to larger conversations that Ally & Jason had clearly had about the tone of the day, priorities, and how they wanted it to feel, every choice was intentional. Ally wore her grandmother’s ring, which yes, we see lots of heirloom jewelry on wedding days. But she made a point to show each and every person who it would mean something to on the day (catch the photo of her showing her grandpa who gifted it to her). Ally recorded herself singing a song for Jason and before the first look, surprised him with airpods to listen to it. Their first dance was a magical moment out on the patio to Banks surrounded by all their special people holding sparklers. If you’re looking for a good cry, this is the post for you.
Truthfully, I didn’t know where to start with this one. We met Ally and Jason three years ago when we photographed Ally’s brother’s wedding. From the start, we knew that they were radiant, joyful humans. We knew we would be beyond lucky to photograph their wedding. Then, two years ago, (to their wedding date they reminded us!), we had them model for a posing education video. At that session, we learned so much more about them. We discovered so many things that we admired about them and truly, they felt like people that we would be SO lucky to have as friends.
We feel so lucky to get to know these people that not only value each other as role models, but that we look up to as well. Jason has a heart of gold, brings spunk and happiness to every moment, and is an amazing cheerleader for everyone around him. Ally is an organization queen, purposeful, and contagious joy. Together, rooted in aligned values and their desire to do good, they are a power couple who are the banks for each others rivers. We love you guys so dearly. XOXO
