Legacy Hill Farm Wedding

Michael & Annie getting married at Legacy Hill Farm feels like the opening to Ophelia. Hahaha, have I ever written anything like that in the over 200+ wedding blog posts I’ve written?! Nope, hehe, but it just felt right. Okay, corny comparing them to the beginning of a Lumineers song? Yes. But there’s just something about it. Here’s why:

Take Annie and Michael. Annie, as many of her family and friends described her, is rambunctious, adventurous and we’d even add a bit zesty. She has a wonderful, full-out laugh and on her wedding day donned a gorgeous dress with little tiny polka dots on the underneath layer. She carried a giant bouquet full of wild flowers. Michael is genuine, as Annie’s dad put it – too kind to razz, and beyond easy to get along with. When you put them together you have this adventurous, easy-going couple with off the charts chemistry.
Then, add in Legacy Hill Farm. Legacy Hill Farm has for a long time been one of our favorite venues. The biggest reason is that it just fosters the best place for your guests to mingle, enjoy the weather, and enjoy the outdoors while being beautiful without much else needed. And that’s exactly the type of wedding day that Michael and Annie hosted for their guests – lots of love and fun all mixed up together.

So as I went to start this blog post and Ophelia came on, it just felt like their wedding day personified and I couldn’t encapsulate how their day felt without mentioning it.

Annie & Michael, congrats!

We met Annie and Michael at Michael’s brother’s wedding in 2019 and the second that we saw they got engaged, we were crossing our fingers that they would reach out. And then, they chose one of our favorite venues as their venues – DONE! Annie & Michael, we’ve loved our time with you. You guys are pure joy and we look forward to any moment we have with you two. We hope you have the best honeymoon in Greece!
