Now let us tell you what’s special about a lakeside cabin wedding. There may be stress and expectations, like any wedding, but at the end of the day, chill vibes trump all. See, in a lakeside cabin wedding there are three dogs just roaming around the property waiting to be a pet on the head. Your childhood treehouse is transformed into the bar of your dreams, serving signature cocktails all night to your closest friends and family. Your guests are able to spread out along your lawn and make themselves at home, not confined by the busy streets of Minneapolis or golfers rushing to their tee times. You don’t have to scramble for parking or hope that you’re going to find the ballroom in the slew of rooms in the skyscraper. And most of all, as you marry the love of your life, you feel this reassuring sense of home.

Cabin Memories

Carly‘s father bought their cabin when he was 25. And there he proposed to his wife. And at that same cabin, on the dock, Ron asked Carly to be his wife. So then, to come back to a place with so much history and so many memories that Carly and Ron hold close to their hearts, there’s nothing more special than saying your “I do’s” there.

Cookie Dough and White Tents

Carly and Ron and their families hosted the most gorgeous, laid-back, cabin wedding orchestrated by Molly of Celebration Concentration. On any normal day, we would say that their puppy Lola stole the show in her flower collar and cute bandanna, but on this day, Ron and Carly absolutely commanded the show with their personalized vows and looking fly as all get out. Carly was delivered from the other side of the lake to walk down to the aisle, raw cookie dough and macaroons were served for dessert, and a packed dance floor under a white tent under a sparkling sky full of stars made for the most amazing day!
