Oh goodness, Sami and Matt. We didn’t even know where to start with this one. Let’s just say, we have been looking forward to your day for a long, long time. Exhibit A: Sami and Matt are a dream couple for us. They are fun-loving and joyful, they love each other hard, they took us to Banff, Sami is a super organized bride who put together a lovely, relaxing day for us to photography, man oh man, the list goes on. So getting to see your Lafayette Club soft, classic wedding come together was a dream come true!!

Florals, Lafayette, and a Beautiful Couple

This whole blog post preview is a bit of an overshare because the whole day was absolutely gorgeous! From a soft color palette, to getting ready at Sami’s parents’ home, to the classic Layfette backdrop, you’re going to love this! The couple and their families coordinated a beautiful day. Tulips & a Kiss created stunning florals (check out the florals on the stairs for the first look and in the fountain at Lafayette Club). Then, Blue Water Kings Band, as always, had the dance floor packed!!

Sami + Matt, Congrats!!

We left on a high from you guys’ day! We’re so thankful that we got to serve you guys, your amazing friends, and your kind family!! We LOVED getting to meet all of those that are dear to you.

Now here’s a bit of truth: neither of us cry very often at weddings. That’s not to say that we’re not emotionally moved, it’s just that we are very focused on doing a great job for our couples, thinking about what’s coming next, and making sure to execute everything to the best of our abilities. But sorting through the images the next day, that’s often a different story. Now, as I (Tia) was culling through the images, a few things got me, but there was a set that had me bawling. There’s a set of a few images where Jackson (one of the best men) wanted to just wrap his arms around and hug Matt so bad, then it goes into Max dipping Matt. They are hilarious photos and I originally started laughing out loud remembering how awkwardly Matt dipped but Max just kept going. Then, it turned into tears rushing down because, man, you guys’ friends love you SO MUCH. You two are so lucky and surely your marriage will thrive surrounded by all these awesome people!!
