North Shore Engagement Session
We joined Katie & Luke on the North Shore near Two Harbors for a perfect fall engagement session. Add in their pups and a cool October breeze and it was perfect!
Each fall, we spend a week on the North Shore photographing our couples. We love it because during that week it is peak fall colors on the shore. It is absolutely gorgeous and we SO enjoy being up at one of our favorite places in the midst of busy season. We get to photograph couples in love but also hike a lot, take time to slow down, and enjoy the fall weather. Then, we make our way back down to Minneapolis for the following week for peak colors down here. That is typically our busiest week of engagements in the entire year and between those two weeks we typically photograph 80% of our couples for the following year.
For Kate and Luke’s session, it was our last shoot on the shore. They had spent the last few days camping with their pups and we were camping with my parents in their motorhome. They love the North Shore and so this was a great excuse to get photos in a place they love.
Katie and Luke got married officially this last year, so their celebration next month will be just that – an amazing celebration of their love. We are so excited to photograph their day at The Blaisdell. The team there – Janet and Kaira – are superb, so we know it will be a well-organized day!
