Hyland Hills Dream

Jordan and Jacob put together a beautiful day for their guests at Hyland Hills Chalet. From the stunning florals by The Flower Girls to the picturesque, newly-renovated Hyland Hills venue, it was an amazing day. They even allowed their guests to be immersed in the air conditioning on their 97 degree day – a huge plus in humid Minnesota. But what was even more notable than the details that they put together for their guest was how they welcomed in their guests like family. Clearly, after hearing their friends and family speak about them, this is a common theme in their lives.

The sense of family is a theme evident from the community with Jacob’s work friends to Jordan’s close girl friend’s. They all feel welcomed in and accepted for who they are and then even more fortunate to get to know Jacob and Jordan. It’s the same feeling that we feel around them, welcomed, accepted, and loved after just knowing them for one short year.

Family at the Center

The dance floor had opened up and the sun was setting over the hill visible through the huge windows surrounding the floor. Jacob’s two nieces and nephews followed him around begging for his attention. He swung one of his nieces around the dance floor as she smiled bigger than you can imagine. Jordan’s parents greeted guests left and right, stopping to chat with everyone as it seemed that each and every person was a deep, intimate friend. Jordan danced in the middle of the floor with her maid of honor, literally surrounded by a bunch of girl friends who cheered her on and beamed at her.

It felt like the entire room was full of those who they considered family. Not friends or colleagues or family friends. Instead, they all felt like family due to something that Jacob and Jordan had clearly fostered in their lives. Congratulations you two! You are two beautiful souls and we feel blessed to have felt like family in your presence.
