Lake Harriet Stroll

You know that feeling when you reunite with a good friend after not seeing them for months? Yeah, that’s how it felt when we met up with Jenna and Brian last fall to stroll around Lake Harriet. We grabbed some ice cream at Sebastian Joe’s and wandered around the area stopping in alleys and pausing, of course, to toss some leaves in the air for a dramatic kissing shot. As we made our way around the lake, Minnesota decided to show off with one of those perfect October sunsets where the yellow glow drops softly over the lake. Perfection for an engagement session? Oh, you bet.

The Best Stuff

But even better, we gabbed and gabbed along the way about everything from the wedding to stories about them growing up. And that’s what we love most about our brides and grooms. We get an intimate peak into their lives. We get to follow them from the beginning of the wedding process – when it’s just a concept with colors freshly picked – all the way to the big day where they get to twirl on the dance floor as husband and wife. It’s the absolute best!!

September, come sooner!

Jenna and Brian, we certainly won’t forget your beautiful engagement session. But do you know what we’ll remember the most? The fun you had from start to finish, and the kindness you showed us. As you ran into the cold lake to share a kiss (their idea, not ours, haha), we couldn’t help but think about all the pure fun you must have every day of your lives. Never stop doing the things like that and your life will be as beautiful as your engagement session. We hope you love your memories as much as we loved saving them. We can’t wait for September to roll around!
