Welcome back to the Cameron & Tia show where we’re doing another fast and furious TikTok tutorial. Today, I’m showing you how to use the duet feature on TikTok. Let’s jump right in!

When to Duet

Let’s say you want a reaction, or you want to talk through, or you want have something to do with another video – that’s when you want to create a duet!

How to Create Duet

So to create a duet, you first find the video you want. You go to this arrow right here and on the bottom it will show you a ton of options. One of the options is duet, so you’ll click that! It’s going to pull you up side by side with the video. You can see my camera there recording this video. I can then record next to it.

In the video I’m dueting, they are showing how to make lemonade. So they’re squishing the lemons, and it looks like they’re adding guava syrup to it. Interesting! After recording, you can see then that I can press the check mark next to it and it will play them side by side. 

Finish Your Duet

Then I hit next and it will have my video side by side reacting to it. If I want to act things out, if I want to add text, feel free. I’ll post and that will show me side by side.
