As you walk up to Gathered Oaks, you are taken aback for a moment of the pure beauty of the venue. But let’s not get carried away with just the looks of the space, as a vendor, this venue makes sense! Everything is so well thought out and was an amazing canvas for Jacey and Marshal’s day.

With April Long of Evergreen Weddings & Events coordinating the day, everything ran smoothly and guests were able to fully enjoy the day. Shawna of Away We Go Weddings executed a beautiful ceremony full of the life and vivaciousness of this couple. We wished we could have had another hour completely devoted to photographing the magic that Beezie’s Blooms created. You’ve got to check out her install as well as the gorgeous bouquets – to die for! Overall, the day was absolutely flawless and we are crossing our fingers that we’ll end up at Gathered Oaks again soon!

Ordinary Mondays

Shawna spoke at their ceremony about ordinary Mondays, that in reality are not so ordinary. For Jacey and Marshal, they met on one of those anything-but-ordinary Mondays. For us, we wake up every Monday after a wedding and start working on a blog post. Our goal is to try to encapsulate all of the joy, meaningful moments, and love into one tiny blog post. We hope that our couples (and their families and their friends) get to scroll through these posts right after the wedding and be brought back to the laughs at the ceremony and the craziness on the dance floor. But for us, this Monday didn’t feel so typical. Because this Monday we felt the responsibility to share Jacey and Marshal’s day and their love story, and guys, they are something special.

Jacey + Marshal

A few things to note: when Marshal turned around at their first look, he immediately yelled “hot diggity dog!” Understandably, though, because Jacey, with her gorgeous gown, cathedral veil, and radiant, beautiful self, was absolutely captivating. Second, they laughed their entire ceremony. And when Jacey laughs, you know it’s that room-filling-full-of-life laugh that gets everyone smiling from ear-to-ear. Lastly, at the end of the night, we surprised them with a little something and they were the most gracious, kind people on earth. But that’s not unique for them to be so sweet, at the end of their wedding night they made us feel like a million bucks.

These two are so deeply in love, they share such an incredible sense of humor and always know how to make each other laugh, and they are kind to no end. Jacey and Marshal, we feel so blessed to know you two and get to try to tell the story of your amazing day on this nothing-but-ordinary Monday. Congratulations to two amazing people who we absolutely adore!! We aspire to have a relationship as joy-filled and sweet as yours is!
