Excelsior Engagement Session
Moriah & Joe have a soft spot for Excelsior because it’s where they had their first date, so it only made sense to go there for their engagement session! Fun fact: Excelsior was also our first date spot! Cam took me to see 500 Days of Summer at the tiny Excelsior theater. So it holds a spot in our heart too!
We also photograph about 1/4 of our senior sessions in downtown Excelsior but haven’t photographed an engagement there since 2017, so we loved getting the change of pace. Excelsior offers SO many fun backdrops, from cool textures and colors on the downtown buildings to the dock and beach for variety.
At the time of their engagement session, these two had just conquered SO many life changes! They had both just graduated college together, secured jobs in Florida, popped home for a bit to pack up and see friends and family, and then they were moving to Florida! They are rockstars. So it was so fun to see them for a bit while they were home and enjoy the beautiful summer weather!
We are SO excited for Moriah & Joe’s wedding in February! We can’t wait to get away from Minnesota a bit in February (when it sometimes feels most bleak) and get a bit of warmth in Florida. Plus all of their friends and family will be joining them at The Royal Crest Room to celebrate their wedding! How freakin’ fun!
