What to Wear for your Engagement Session Outfits
Obviously what you wear will completely depend on certain things that neither of us can control, like the weather, what season it is or what time to of day it is. Still, we think there are a few things to note as you and your special someone are picking out your outfits for your engagement session.
Comfort Above Everything Else
We know you want to look extra amazing in these photos, but a shirt you have to constantly adjust because it doesn’t fit quite right will definitely slow down that process. We want you to be comfortable so that you can truly be in the moment, so make sure your picking pieces that fit well and comfortably. Plus, we move around a lot and test out so many prompts, so you don’t want to worry about re-adjusting your outfit after every shot. Being comfortable with help you and your fiance to simply relax and just be in the moment.
Confidence is Key
Along with comfortable we want you to be confident! So pick outfits that you feel your ultimate best in. Don’t be afraid to dress up too. You’ll feel put together and your pictures will shine.

For reference, we’ve put together some of our favorite and most ideal outfits that we have absolutely adored when we’ve done engagement shoots. There’s a nice mix of dressy, flowy, and casual to fit every vibe out there.
Women
Go with something maxi. We love maxi skirts and dresses. They are flowy and romantic and photograph so well!

Casual is still a classic. Seriously, you don’t have to be super fancy. There’s nothing wrong with the classic sweater and jeans!
Men
Think to mix classy and classic. Combine your favorite button-up shirt and some nice pants, like chinos or khakis.
Level up with a blazer and dress pants to spice it up a bit.
