Conference Adventures: Learnings and Connections

Let’s start with the conferences—oh boy, were they something else! Our year kicked off with a bang as we made our way to the Creative Educator Conference in Dallas back in January. Picture this: a gathering of amazing entrepreneurs and friends, a lineup of mind-blowing speakers, and an atmosphere buzzing with inspiration. Seriously, every attendee was a walking encyclopedia, ready to share insights that blew our minds. Huge shoutout to Laylee Emadi for orchestrating such an incredible event. Then came the Graceful Gathering Conference in Ohio in April, where we had the absolute pleasure of speaking about ‘Posing for Purpose: A System for Explosive Growth.’ The interaction, the enthusiasm—our group was pure magic! Wanderlust Chronicles: Adventures Around the Globe

Now, let’s talk travel—because who doesn’t love a good travel story? Straight off the bat in the new year, we made our traditional winter escape to the sunny shores of San Diego. Shooting, spending quality time with Grandma Lila, and soaking up that San Diego sunshine—absolute bliss, folks. Grandma Lila’s hospitality always makes our stay extra special.

April had us jetting off to Paris for the first time ever, and boy, did it steal our hearts! Three days of croissants, cobblestone streets, and breathtaking sights—it was everything we didn’t know we needed. And then it was off to Portugal with Cam’s family for ten adventure-packed days exploring Porto, Lisbon, and Lagos. Busy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely! Seasons of Love and Work: Summer and Fall Highlights

Summer? Oh, it was a whirlwind of weddings, engagement sessions, and senior shoots! Non-stop hustle because, well, our fall was gearing up to be a bit of a personal whirlwind.

And boy, did the fall deliver! Four weddings, one of which was in Spain—hello, European wedding vibes! We got to soak up the beauty of Spain and even squeezed in a “buddy moon.” Then back home for more celebrations with friends tying the knot in the cities and up north in Duluth. Phew, talk about a packed but oh-so-fulfilling season of love and celebrations!
