Hailey & John’s Summer Lafayette Club Wedding

Hailey & John’s summer Lafayette Club wedding is the epitome of Lake Minnetonka life. We knew from the moment they reached out that this day was going to be epic. They joined us on our side of the lake for a consult and we were blown away. Hailey and John are so fun, care so deeply, and are just pure joy to be around. We were counting down the days to this wedding and it did not disappoint.

Bopping around Lake Minnetonka

The day began in downtown Excelsior getting ready at the Hotel Excelsior suites. They were stunning and it was so fun for everyone to be right in the mix of a bustling Saturday morning in the quaint town (SO to our home base downtown – the 10 minute commute was BOMB!). After Hailey and John’s private vows and a first look there, we all made our way to Lafayette for some portraits. Their entire support system – from their amazing parents, to their kind siblings, to their hype wedding party – was amazing and made this part of the day so fun.

Next up, they headed over to The Woods Retreat. We had never been here before and it is STUNNING! Such an amazing almost hidden Lake Minnetonka area gem. They had a relaxed receiving line after the ceremony where guests could enjoy the property and sip on Perrier. Guests then made their way to Lafayette to enjoy the beautiful summer weather at cocktail hour. The wedding party and Hailey and John got welcomed into Lord Fletcher’s in style and then hopped on their boat for a cruise before landing at Lafayette. This was the cherry on top of an amazing day – it just felt so relaxed and just Hailey and John and their friends having a great time together.

At the reception, Lafayette was decked to the nines by Linen Effects and Studio Fleurette. Rock With U got the party going early in the night (and there was a surprise choreographed dance WHOA) and kept it PACKED!! It was EPIC!
