Join us today as we plan for 2023! Today we are doing something SUPER fun where we are taking you behind the scenes to one of our weekly team meetings. Tag along as we plan for our entire 2023 year, finalize our goals, create a roadmap for new products, and schedule out our sales!

Welcome back to our channel! We are so excited to get this team meeting rolling. Today, you’ll see Cam and Shelby and I walking through planning our entire week and all of 2023! It’s going to be super exciting and this is going to be a fun behind the scenes to see how our meetings look.

Meeting Kick Off

We love to kick off the meetings by each of us sharing our win for the past week! It could be personal or in business, but anything we are proud of that we want to share with the team.

Tia started out by sharing that she’s been recording Youtube videos like a crazy person! She’s mapped out all of the videos for the rest of the year, scheduled the tasks that need to be done for those, and left some gaps in the schedule for future videos that we can add in.

Cameron shared next that he purchased all of his Christmas presents and found some really clever, funny gifts for people. Next up was Shelby! She had just returned to Minnesota from a vacation in Arizona and Hawaii, so we got alllllll of the details about that.

Sharing our team wins is such a fun way to start off the meeting on a positive note before we dive right in.

Diving Right In

Next up on the meeting agenda is to chat about the action items from the previous week. As a team, we discuss all of the action items from the previous week so we can make sure everything is done and if there are any additional action items to follow up on!

We also discussed some social media stats and updates on some videos and shorts that we’ve created recently!

Retreat Planning

What we were most excited for going into this meeting was chatting about the retreat planning! We reached out to different locations and discussed the pros and cons of each location, what those locations can provide us as a group, and some things that we want to add to the retreat to make it an amazing experience.

Spotify Wrapped and Ai Discussion

After a deep dive into Retreat Planning, we took a break and started brainstorming a fun, new idea. We love the idea of a Spotify Wrapped but the stats are from the 2022 wedding season. We brainstormed different ideas that we could include and then jumped into Ai.

Cam’s knowledge on Ai and the discussion in his podcast gave him a lightbulb moment that we should explore Ai and how it could enhance the business. It could also be a really cool podcast subject as Ai is not well-known in general but especially in the photography industry.

Finalizing 2023

After a brainstorming session, we jumped into our 2023 plans. We planned out each month for what sales we are going to run and what products we are going to launch. We talk about the pros and cons of each month and how we can revamp courses during our busy wedding seasons.

The biggest thing that we are finalizing for 2023 is the retreat and when to launch. We also brainstormed the idea of releasing and revealing details to keep everyone amped and excited about the trip.

Meeting Wrap Up

Finally, we discussed as a team setting goals for 2023. We talked about taking a trip to San Diego for the end of 2023 as a team retreat and sharing all of our stats and wins from the year. San Diego is where Tia’s Grandma Lila lives and we talked about taking walks with Gma Lila, going to the zoo, and getting out of the cold weather.
