Join us for a quick summary of our New England trip Fall 2021! We brought Cam’s mom and dad out for a quick 5 day trip to the east coast to see some fall colors!

Our New England Trip

What a beautiful time of the year to see New England! We were so excited to head to the northeast with Cam’s mom and dad to see the amazing fall colors.

Vermont

We originally landed in Hartford, Connecticut and drove through Massachusetts and over to Vermont. They had a beautiful, big welcome center that we spent some time at, admiring the florals and learning about the area!

After some time at the welcome center, we made our way to Brattleboro, Vermont. They had beautiful buildings with old architecture and the florals and colors of the city were STUNNING! We had dinner the first night right on the river and we started off day two with some maple coffee!

Maine

After leaving Vermont, we headed to The Bush Compound in Kennebunkport, Maine. The water was stunning with some rocky terrain that we explored before heading into Portland, Maine for a DELICIOUS lobster dinner at Luke’s Lobster. There’s really nothing like sitting by the water and an enjoying a big lobster meal.

Next stop was the Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. A true symbol of New England, we loved standing near the water and admiring the coast with the classic lighthouse in sight!

Rhode Island

We made a quick stop to explore Boston before heading to Newport, Rhode Island! The calm waters at the beach, the delicious pasta and seafood, and a hammock in the shade made for a perfect day in New England. For dinner, we dove into some oysters and spent quality time with family.

The next day we had an AMAZING breakfast, had a dance party by the water, and walked along the beach collecting shells.

We had an amazing time exploring New England during the fall with Cam’s parents. Amazing places and the best food ever, we can’t wait to go back again soon.
